I.    WHO WE ARE?

1.1.    Canready Consultants Inc. (Hereinafter referred to as "We, "Us", "Our") is registered under the laws of Ontario, Canada are the organizers of the event called "MBA OR MS" ("Event"). We are committed to protecting your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy has been created to demonstrate Our commitment to protecting the privacy of the attendees of the Event. We lay out all the information in connection to the information that will be collected by Us, the use of such information collected and the sharing of such information with third parties. 

1.2.    Unless otherwise stated, this Privacy Policy is applicable for all activities related to or connected with the Event and for all platforms owned by Us related to the Event. 

1.3.    This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Terms and Conditions which can be accessed https://www.canready.com/terms-mbaorms. And shall be deemed by reference to be a part of this Privacy Policy.

II.    PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the following kinds of information collectively referred to as "Personal Information" only for the administration and promotion of this Event. 

2.1.    Information that you provide to us directly:

(a)    Name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth that may be shared with the speakers at the event. 
(b)    If you choose to connect your social media account(s) such as facebook, whatsapp, Instagram, linkedin, etc.  we may receive certain information from that account, such as your title, picture, and other information you authorize. We may use your friends or connections lists to make recommendations or suggest mutual connections. 
(c)    Any other information for the limited purposes and in connection with the Event. 
2.2.    Information collected automatically:

(a)    Information collected using tracking technologies such as cookies, google analytics and may include details such as email address, IP address etc. You may change your Internet browser settings to prevent your computer from accepting cookies or to notify you when you receive a cookie so that you may decline its acceptance. 
(b)    Any information received from your device or server including preferred language, browser type and information, geographic location, purchase history, URL etc. 

2.3.    From any public sources:

We collect information from your social media accounts or information received from public sources which is then added to our database with all the information that we already have about you. You may restrict the information that you share under this social media accounts.

III.    USE OF INFORMATION

3.1.    We use your Personal Information for the following purposes:

(a)    Providing all the services related to the Event including registration, issuing of tickets, facilitate information sharing with partners with whom you have consented for us to share information, provide relevant connects based on social media platforms. 
(b)    For notifying of any changes related to or in connection with the Event. 
(c)    For receiving marketing and advertising related material if you opt for it. 
(d)    For using your information such as photos etc., for the marketing of the Event. In case you object to the same, kindly email us as per the details as mentioned at the end. 
(e)    For replying to any queries, clarifications and objections as raised by you. 
(f)    For compliance with Our legal requirements. 
(g)    Providing you with special offers and information about related events and to invite you to participate in surveys, as per your choices and communication preferences. 
(h)    Providing your information with the speakers of the Event so that they can reach out to you post the Event, as per your choices and communication preferences. 
(i)    Processing payments made for the purchase of the ticket for attending the Event. 
(j)    For improving the services related to the Event.
(k)    For processing transactions  

3.2.    If We intend to use any of your information in any manner that is not consistent with this privacy policy or for any other uses as mentioned in this Privacy Policy, you will be informed of such anticipated use prior to or at the time the information is collected. We do not sell, trade, exchange or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personal Information without your express consent other than for the purpose of delivering the service requested. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. 

3.3.    By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you give Us your express consent to communicate with you through any mode including SMS, texts, emails related to the updates, marketing, advertising of materials in relation with the Event only, subject to you clicking on the box for this specific purpose. You may opt out at any time of such consent, by writing to us. 

3.4.    We may disclose the information we collect about you through our website when we, in good faith, believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law (or a court order or subpoena); to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to enforce the terms of use or other agreements that govern your use of our website; to protect the rights, property or safety of Our users or others; or to protect your vital interests.

IV.    CONSENT AND LIMITATION OF COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

4.1.    Knowledge and consent are required for the collection, use or disclosure of Personal Information except where required or permitted by law. Providing us with your Personal Information is always your choice. However, your decision not to provide certain information may limit our ability to provide you with all the attendance of the Event in the best manner. We will not require you to consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of information as a condition to the supply of a service, except as required to be able to provide the service related to the Event. 

4.2.    The Personal Information collected by Us will be solely related to or in connection with the Event. Personal Information may only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which it was collected unless you have otherwise consented, or when it is required or permitted by law.

V.    ACCURACY AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

5.1.    We do our best to ensure that the Personal Information we hold is accurate, complete and compliant of local laws. 

5.2.    Personal Information will only be retained for the period of time required to fulfill the purpose for which we collect the Personal Information it or as may be required by law. Any Personal Information that may no longer be needed for the purposes laid out shall be destroyed, erased, or made anonymous.

7.1.    We may share the Personal Information with the speakers and the attendees of the Event for enhancing connections and enabling networking between the attendees. 

7.2.    We may share your Personal Information with platforms such as facebook, Instagram, google, LinkedIn, Eventbrite, evernote etc for advertising/marketing purposes of the present Event. 

7.3.    We may share your Personal Information to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market the Event. These third parties may provide us with services including for customer support, data storage and website hosting, ticketing and payments processing, legal advice and compliance, and marketing and data analysis. These third parties are contractually required to use it only to provide their service to us, and prohibited from using it for their own purposes. If We share any Personal Information with third parties, We will contractually bind them to delete such information after their completion of services to Us. 

7.4.    Please note that the third-party sites are not governed by this Privacy Policy. Although we endeavor to only link to sites with high privacy standards, our Privacy Policy will no longer apply once you enter an external website. Additionally, We are not responsible or liable for the content and privacy practices employed by third party websites. Therefore, We suggest that you examine the privacy statements of those sites to learn how your information may be collected, used, shared and disclosed.

7.5.    In instances where We or Our affiliates are subject to a reorganization, such as a merger or acquisition of some or all of its assets, we may, in accordance with our legitimate interests, need to share information in the course of the transaction. In such circumstances, your information may be disclosed, where permitted by applicable law, in connection with such corporate restructuring, sale, or assignment of assets, merger, or other changes of control or financial status of Us or Our affiliate.

However, we reserve the right to deny access to any Personal Information that is  information that contains references to other individuals, information that cannot be disclosed for legal, security, or commercial proprietary reasons, and information that is subject to solicitor-client or litigation privilege. 

8.2.    Where We use your information for marketing, you can object to it by contacting Us as per the details mentioned in this Privacy Policy. Where we inform you that We will record a call to you, We will provide you with the opportunity to object to such recording. 

8.3.    If We have specifically asked for your consent to use your Personal Information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

Despite these measures, the Internet is not a fully secure environment and We cannot guarantee that your Personal Information won't be intercepted or improperly accessed.

10.1.    Our Privacy Policy is regularly reviewed to make sure that We continue to serve your privacy interests. We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy and these changes will be posted on our website. We will notify You of any changes to this Privacy Policy as required under the applicable laws. The date of last revision appears at the top and all changes take effect immediately upon posting. 

10.2.    In the event of any conflict arising between the Terms and the Privacy Policy, the Terms shall prevail.
