Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can we guarantee a successful admission?
A: No, we can't. And for that matter, no one can or should make that guarantee. However, we have a stellar success rate and have not let a student down so far.
Q: How long does the entire process take?
A: Good question. And frankly it depends on a number of factors such as the country, institution, program you are applying to. However, we recommend you start the process at least a year in advance.
Q: Is it necessary to apply through an educational consultant?
A: No, absolutely not. We're well versed in this realm and can serve as a guide and expert in the process. However, most schools do allow you to apply directly as well.
Q: Why are assessment tests necessary? What's the difference from one to the other?
A: These tests allow the institution to understand your skills and aptitude. They have cut off scores for these tests keeping in mind the ability of the student to undertake the course.
Q: Do schools give scholarships? How do we know what's offered?
A: Yes, some do. The amount and the criteria varies from institution to institution. The best place to understand what's on offer is the institution website (or a Canready counsellor)
Q: Do we offer refunds?
A: Under the 'Reach for the Stars' program, if for some reason the Canready team is unable to secure admission to any of the chosen 3 institutions, we will refund 50% of our fee back to you. In case the student/ parents opt out during the process, we do not offer a refund.
